MGM Liverpool Confirm October 7th Date

MGM Liverpool are delighted to confirm they will host their first show on October 7th

at Greenbank Sports Academy.

This exciting development provides MGM’s Liverpool based fighters the opportunity

to box on regular shows in their home city. It also serves as the perfect location for

MGM to extend its regional operations, Sam Kynoch explained “Liverpool is a proud

fighting city, with a rich boxing heritage. We are delighted to offer our Liverpool

based boxers the opportunity to compete in their hometown.”

The event will feature a host of talented local fighters with James Metcalfe (13-0) the

main-event. There's added excitement as John Quigley (13-0) is back in action after

a lengthy spell on the side-lines. The Merseyside resident returns having just

recently signed with MGM.

Ryan Moorhead (7-1), Tommy Carus (7-2- 2), Ged Carroll (2-0) and Brandon Daord

(1-0) are also confirmed with further fights expected to be announced.

MGM's Derry Mathews is excited to be involved with the event, "The show's going to

be absolutely brilliant. MGM are doing some great shows in Spain, Birmingham,

Manchester and Scotland. This is just the start of big things in Liverpool."

Tickets for the show are in the fighter’s hands and all of the boxers scheduled are

focused on putting on a show. "All we need now is the public to get out there and

support the lads and for the fighters to perform on the night." He said.
