Manchester's undefeated Lightweight Chris Conwell has been added to the February 20th MGM Manchester show at Preston's Guild Hall. Conwell is trained by a man who knows a thing or two about boxing the best Lightweights in Britain and the world. Former undefeated British and European Champion John Murray is the man who steers the Conwell ship. This will be the first Murray trained fighter to showcase their talents on an MGM show, something that excites fellow trainer and the shows promoter Johnney Roye,
"Chris is a good young undefeated fighter and it is a pleasure to have him on our show. He is a exciting fighter who always comes to please the crowd, these are the type of fighters MGM Manchester will be showcasing on a regular basis. Conwell has made a good start to his career under John and will be looking to move to 8-0 on February 20th".
Conwell is another quality edition to a show that features fellow Mancunian's Lyndon Newman, Kofi Yates and Reece Macmillian. On a personal note it is good to see MGM Manchester working with different promoters, trainers and managers in the North West in order to give the fans the best possible show they can.
Chris Conwell joins a big lineup on February 20th's MGM Manchester card at Preston's Guild Hall that features Liam Conroy, Michael Ramabeletsa, Lyndon Newman and Malcolm Klassen all in title action. Limited tickets are still available from all the boxers on the bill as well as by calling the Preston Guild Hall Box Office on 01772 804440.
