Liverpool Light Welterweight Nathan Brough has been added to the MGM Manchester card on February 20th. Brough who hasn't boxed since defeating previously unbeaten Sam Matkin for the Central Area Super Lightweight title back in 2014 will be having his first fight under the management of MGM.
Brough has linked up with Derry Mathews and George Vaughan for camp in Liverpool as he plans an active 2016, setting his sights on domestic and international titles in the coming 12 months. Derry's gym down in Liverpool is buzzing with rising Light Middleweight JJ Metcalfe, Ryan Moorhead, Ryan Vaughan and Jay Carney amongst others all under one roof learning from the world title challenger Mathews and the master George Vaughan.
MGM Manchester figurehead Johnney Roye was delighted when announcing that Brough had been added to the show,
"Nathan is a top fighter and we are extremely happy for him to showcase his skills on our 20th February show. He is another quality addition to a bill that has quality on it throughout. This will the first of many MGM Manchester shows that will feature good, established fighters such as Brough".
The Liverpool man joins a bill which includes three title fights featuring Liam Conroy, Michael Ramabeletsa and Lyndon Newman, all contesting the newly formed British Challenge titles at their respective weights. The card will also feature Malcolm Klassen in a fight that will look to pave a way for the South African to fight for a World Lightweight title.
Tickets for MGM Manchester's February 20th show at Preston's Guild Hall are priced at £35 and £55 in what is real value for money for such a high quality card. Tickets are available from all the boxers on the bill or by calling the Preston Guild Hall directly on 01772 804440.
