David Brophy(14-0-1) and Tobias Webb (16-3-1) both made weight for their ten round Super Middleweight contest at Edinburgh's Meadowbank Arena on Saturday evening. Both fighters looked in tremendous shape ahead of a fight that will certain propel the winner into contention for domestic titles in the early months of 2016.

Promoter Sam Kynoch spoke ahead of tomorrow evenings main event, "This is an excellent domestic clash and exactly the type of fight which David requires at this stage in his career. I think that their styles will gel and make for a very entertaining 10 round contest".

Brophy is very highly rated in Scottish circles as is Webb in Welsh circles and brings a somewhat deceptive record into this contest. Webb has only lost when being in with the best with defeats coming against Rocky Fielding and Callum Smith. Despite this Webb still harbour's title ambitions of his own in the coming 12 months and see's a victory over Brophy as a perfect way of getting back in the British title picture.

This fight is considered a step up for Brophy, who is considered one of the top prospects under the MGM banner. Brophy came across in very confident ahead of Saturday's contest, "I'm feeling good, I'm in top shape, I am confident I am going to win come Saturday night".

Some tickets are still available for this fight which includes an undercard full of local talent. The winner of Brophy vs Webb will be thrown straight into the British and Commonwealth title picture in 2016.
