Here is the first of, hopefully, many Question and Answer sessions with some of the biggest personalities of British boxing.

A big thanks to former boxer, promoter, trainer, motivational speaker and boxing historian Spencer Fearon for getting us up and running. Fans of Sky Sports Podcast Toe2Toe are familiar with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the sport and his passion is evident to all those who follow him on social media.

British Boxing Blog - How did you find your way into boxing?

Spencer Fearon - As I child I was a big fan of Muhammad Ali but got the tail end of his career but he was larger than life so he inspired me to want to box. Then Ray Leonard came about and that was it for me! I found a boxing gym at the Brixton Recreation Centre. Then my life changed as I was hooked not just on boxing but the history as well.

BBB - You've stated in the past you don't have a favourite boxer of all time. Who do you think is the best active boxer today?

SF - The Flyweight World Champion Roman Gonzalez by far. The man is all action and comes to lick off your headback.

BBB - You seem to have done everything there is to do in boxing. Boxer, commentator, pundit, promoter, trainer. What does the future hold for The Knowledge?

SF - I was head hunted by a multi million pound Social Media Company called Crowdmix recently in London to head up my own sports team. So I'm in the process of of building a really strong team around me as Crowdmix will go global so I'm grateful to Tom Howell and Ian Roberts for twisting my arm to get on board. Still Sky Sports, enjoy being me and love the platform as people now look at me as an authority figure of the sport I love. I totally enjoy all the motivational speaking engagements I'm doing around the UK from the big corporate companies in the city to small youth centres, I'm incredibly blessed that my passion has now become my pay cheque.

BBB - Do you think that small hall promoters can operate successfully given the lack of TV money and fierce competition from more established rivals?

SF - It's hard but I've got a lot of time for guys like Coldwell, Helliet and Goodwin. They are so needed in the sport.

BBB - What do you think about the levels of criticism that some recent Matchroom cards have received? Harsh or fair?

SF - Sometimes it's very unfair but never harsh.

BBB - What are your top 3 albums of all time?

SF - Biggie's "Ready to Die", Sam Cooke "Best of" and "Godson" by Nas.

BBB - Who would be your top 3 British prospects to watch in 2016?

SF - Larry Ekundayo, (Chris) Eubank Jr and Anthony Joshua.

BBB - Which is your personal favourite boxing match of 2015 and why? Lucas Matthysse vs Ruslan Provodnikov.

BBB - Toe 2 Toe is a go to podcast for many British fans. How much fun do you have doing it?

SF - You have no idea how fun doing the show is! I love doing what I do. It's an amazing platform and it makes me so proud that daily people will stop me in the street and say they either listen or watch with #toe2toe on Demand for SkySports or download the podcast on iTunes. I have a wonderful team in my producers Ed Dammerall and Donal O'Keffe. It's 3 years strong and those guys become your brothers and have helped me become more professional in this trade.

BBB - And finally, who is the the best Edward in boxing? Hearn, Draper or Robinson?

SF - Put it this way Mr Robinson stuck his neck out for me and got me to host the show in the early days so he's NO1 as we go back 20 years. Then its Ed Draper the guy good people. So you know who's last right lol
